Terms of use

Last updated 30 October 2026. Finger Hero is a free rhythm game made by Zach Highley. By playing it you agree to these short terms.

The game is free

You can play as much as you like at no cost. There is nothing to buy inside the game. It is meant to be supported by ads on the results screen; see the privacy page for what is and is not loaded today.

Your music

Songs you add from your files stay on your device and remain yours. Only add music you have the right to use. The game cannot read DRM-protected downloads, for example Apple Music files, and does not try to.

YouTube songs

YouTube songs play through YouTube's official embedded player. The videos belong to their uploaders and rights holders and are subject to YouTube's terms of service. Finger Hero does not download, copy or store any YouTube audio or video; it only times its notes to the player.

Built-in tracks

The built-in tracks are generated by the game itself and may be played freely inside it.

Scores and progress

Best scores, levels and streaks live only in your browser on this device. They can be lost if you clear site data or switch browsers, and we cannot restore them.

No warranty

The game is provided as is. We try to keep it working and in sync, but it may have bugs, go offline, or change without notice. We are not liable for any loss arising from its use, to the extent the law allows.

Fair use

Do not attempt to break, overload or abuse the game or the services it relies on.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
